Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! I hope you all had a fantastic Easter weekend full of fun times with the family and delicious candy from the Easter Bunny! My sister and I were determined to get a picture with Rosie, but it was impossible! That girl hates to sit still and my dad had to stand right next to the camera to make her pay attention. So please excuse the had in the picture, but there was no other way to control that dog! But just look at that cute face! Who wouldn't want to catch that on camera?

For the first time ever I got to go Easter candy shopping for the family! My sister was home the weekend my parents went candy shopping last year and took her with them. I was so jealous that they decided that this year was my turn. My dad took me to the Anthony Thomas candy store and it was heaven! Chocolate and candy everywhere! We picked out chocolate for everyone and the night before Easter I divided up the candy and arranged everyone's baskets. It was so much fun!

Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic weekend. I ate way too much candy, but what can I say? I hadn't had chocolate since Ash Wednesday since I gave it up for lent, and while I'm proud of myself for sticking to it, it was tough! Now I can eat chocolate any time I want and it's absolutely glorious.

Did you guys have a good Easter? I hope so! Now, there's only 2 full weeks of classes left before final exams and SUMMER! Here's to hoping these next two weeks fly by and I can get all of my work done!

Blogging Break

Hey, everyone! So, I know I've been kind of MIA the past week. Well, I swear I have a good reason. School. Well, college to be more specific. You see, there's about five weeks left of the semester. And I have three projects all due around Easter weekend. Major projects. And yes, one is on teen film (see picture above), which is actually pretty interesting, but takes a ton of work nonetheless.

Anyways, I have already started stressing out and spent the entire past weekend trying to get those projects started. Every time I thought about trying to post something here, I got even more stressed. I knew I wouldn't be able to put in the effort to make good blog posts, instead of ones just to fill the space, so I haven't let myself post anything new. That being said, I'm going to have to take about two weeks to focus on school until I can focus on blogging again. But only two weeks! Hopefully, after Easter, I'll have more time and be back up and running again. I hope you all are enjoying the beginning of April and I'll see you soon! xoxo

April Wishlist

Every Spring, I become obsessed with all things pastel and floral. I rotate through my Sally Hansen pastel nail polishes and want to buy every accessory or clothing item with a floral pattern. I just get so excited that the warm weather is coming in, the flowers are blooming, and the grass is turning greener, that I need to celebrate!

I am completley in love with all of the items on my wish list, even though many of them are way out of my price rang. A girl can dream of owning a $100 Modcloth dress…maybe one day! But I just love the floral lace patters on both the violet dress and the high wasted shorts. So cute! And, of course, we can't forget my beloved Keds! I didn't even know they came in coral! I'm dying for another pair of them.

So if you can't tell, I'm super excited it's finally April and that Spring is well on it's way in. The weather is finally warming up and I smile more and more every time I walk outside. If only the weather would get just a tad bit warmer so that I can finally wear my dresses without a coat ruining the entire look. Here's to a bright and flowery Spring!
